A new exhibition at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum in Huskisson, recounts the stories of the people, events and places in the history of Jervis Bay and surrounding areas.

The Submerged: stories of Australia’s shipwrecks workshops are now well underway. After a successful start in Hobart this February, the second workshop saw 30 individuals representing 18 South Australian organisations gather at Mannum, South Australia for a day of exhibition-related information sessions and networking.

Paynesville Maritime Museum is the “new kid on the block” and as such probably warrants a little explanation of where it came from, where it is at and what it does.

The workshop will be covering various aspects of exhibition development including labeling, design and object display, with practical sessions where we will jointly work up content for an exhibition that will then be produced and tour nationally.
